For Sale: Bernardelli Model 60 Pistol w/box

Bernardelli Model 60 semi-auto pistol chambered in .32 ACP/7.65mm and manufactured by V. Bernardelli in Gardone V.T., Italy in 1967. Features include 3 ½ inch barrel, plastic checkered grips, open sights, 8-round capacity magazine, and European style bottom magazine catch. Original production began in 1959 with offerings in .22 L.R., .32 ACP, and .380 ACP, import and manufacture of this pocket pistol ceased under the Gun Control Act of 1968 and was replaced by the model 80.

Markings on the Bernardelli Model 60 seen here include Italian proof markings on the chamber and right side of both the slide and frame. Beneath the proofs on the frame, right behind the trigger, is the Italian date code ‘XXIII’. The left side of the slide is marked ‘V. BERNARDELLI GARDONE V.T. CAL 7,65 MOD. 60/MADE IN ITALY’. The serial number is stamped on the underside of the frame next to the trigger guard. The magazine back, near the bottom, carries the Bernardelli logo of a swan over ‘VB/G’ with a triangle. The left grip is marked ‘VB’ while the right grip is marked with a upright standing sledgehammer behind an anvil overlain with crossed rifles, both grip marks are within recessed ovals.

This Bernardelli Model 60 pistol is in excellent condition with only a couple, very minor, handling marks on the front grip strap, just behind the trigger guard. The bore is excellent with sharp rifling and some light marks from use. The original, matching box is structurally sound with some wear from storage and use. Includes cleaning brush, oiler, and paperwork as pictured (the owner’s pamphlet is in Italian).
