The Berretta Browning BDA-380 (Browning Double Action Model 380), manufactured by Beretta between 1977 and 1997, is a compact SA/DA, blowback operated semi-automatic pistol. Features include fixed, low-profile sights; ambidextrous slide mounted safety that disengages the trigger from the hammer; and high polish walnut grips with ‘B’ medallion. This arm is in excellent condition with very light handling marks. Manufactured in 1979, based on its SN 425 RN XXXXX, this pistol is marked ‘BROWNING ARMS COMPANY/MORGAN UTAH MONTREAL PQ’ in two-line address on slide and ‘BDA-380 with SN on receiver, left side. The right side is marked ‘PB’ (within a circle) ‘– MADE IN ITALY’ on the slide, ‘CAL. 9 short/380 Auto’ in two lines on chamber, and ‘PSF’ along with three Italian inspection marks on the front, right side of the trigger guard. The magazine bottom is marked ‘CAL. 9 short / 380 Auto’ in a single line and the back has 4, 8, and 13 round numeral indicators. Capacity is 13 round mag + 1 in the chamber.
