S&W .32 Hand Ejector six-shot, double-action, postwar revolver. The S&W revolver has post-war, period correct diamond center checkered walnut round-butt grips with S&W monograms and matching SN. Finish is blued.
Serial number 628XXX matches on the frame butt, inner right grip, barrel flat, cylinder face, and underside of extractor. Assembly numbers match on yoke and crane. This S&W .32 Hand Ejector is built on the improved I-frame with four screws. Based on the deletion of the upper side plate screw starting with SN 640980, the 3-inch pinned barrel, and the ramp front sight with square-notched rear, this Pre-model 30 was most likely manufactured in 1956.
Some handling wear is visible on the finish around the fluted cylinder and near the muzzle. Light handling marks are found on the frame. Bore is in an excellent clean and bright condition with well-defined rifling. See pictures for overall condition. FFL or C&R required to purchase.
